PRANA FESTIVAL – On September 9th-10th it is time again for the Yoga and Music Festival in the middle of Gothenburg’s urban jungle!
The festival is organized in the Garden Society, a quiet and verdant oasis. Almost like Central Park, but here, in Gothenburg. It will be an extraordinary treat for all senses with concerts and yoga classes. The festival theme is Community-Movement-Happiness and we are looking forward to creating that together with you. The first Prana Festival was organized in 2016 and it was a great success
International, national, and local artists and yoga teachers invite you to be part of an amazing experience. Prana Festival is inspired by the international festivals Hanuman, Wanderlust and Bali Spirit Festival.
Yoga tents and music scenes will turn the Garden Society into an inspiring festival area for the weekend. We are offering a large range of yoga classes, workshops, and music performances to inspire both beginners and more experienced participants. Prana Festival is a festival for you!
Food trucks will be serving ecological, vegetarian, and vegan food in the middle of the festival area. There is a café in the Garden Society and the restaurant at Trädgår’n also offers both food and wine. Tickets can be purchased for 1 or 2 days and give you access to all yoga and music scenes and lectures. We look forward to creating magic with YOU in September.
Prana ~ (प्राण, prāṇa) is the Sanskrit word for “life force” or vital principle. In Hindu philosophy including yoga, Indian medicine, and martial arts, the term refers collectively to all cosmic energy, permeating the Universe on all levels.
Prana Festival will have SUP Yoga classes, taking 7 participants in each class.

Sustainability, environment and health
Yoga is a great way to get to know your own body. This path often sparks an interest in what food you eat, what it contains and how it is produced. Yoga is also about a greater commitment; from you as a human being and for the Earth we live on and share.
Prana Festival strives to be an inspiration for others to make better choices that contribute to the wellbeing of the Earth and our health. Therefore, we offer inspiring lectures and organic, vegetarian, and locally produced food. We produce the whole event with environmental awareness by using eco-labeled and recyclable materials. We also try to generate as little waste as possible. Our goal is to inform and inspire others to do their best in this very important topic.
